WHAT DOG TRAINERS ARE EXPRESSING ABOUT LEARNING WITH HEATHER’S HEROES..

  • "I’ve love attending workshops with heather. They are well planned. Well informed. Exponentially impacting work and personal growth in a way that when I see an opening for another workshop i wish I could go again. Thank you and your team for putting on great informational workshops."

  • "Sorry I totally forgot to comment, but I be attended several workshops with Heather and I’ve had nothing but an awesome experience! During the workshop I feel welcomed and it’s always a great refresher to be there. From Jay Jack to Jason Vasconi there I always had a great time and feel motivated to work after one of Heather’s workshops!"

  • "I attended TCG two years ago I think? It completely changed the way I train dogs. I am constantly recommending and utilizing the Sidekick Leash and it has made many of my clients, both two and four-legged alike, bridge communication gaps and build a better relationship together. It's my favorite training tool!"

  • "Not to be dramatic, but it changed my entire world. My first workshop was Difficult Dogs. I brought my own very difficult dog and saw enough that I knew that I wanted to learn more from Heather. Couple years later, I came for semi private mentoring and began my life as a dog trainer. Learning about impulse control and calmness begins the foundation of all my dog training. Love you Heather Beck."

  • "When I attended my first workshop I was completely opposed to head halters. My first mentor said they were horrible and I just adopted that belief. I now use the sidekick with almost every dog I work with. When I attended my first Saturday social at the workshop I was completely freaked out. I was amazed that so many formerly reactive dogs could be in an off leash social with their owners. I also really like what she teaches about how to run a business. Heathers workshops are so well run and they have influenced my day to day work with dogs more than any other I have attended."

  • 'I have attended only one 3D workshop, a long time ago (much before the virus) in San Pedro, Belize. After that , my journey about dogs, began. How to connect with them, how to deal with them, to understand them and much more. It is a privilege that God gave me, to know Heather in TCW 2013 with Cesar for first time and have the oportunnity to learn and practice her technique together with the sidekick, a magic tool , transforming the dog's mind. Thank you Heather for teaching me the importance of being PATIENCE. Love you "

  • "Heather’s Teach Calm & Guide workshop completely changed my approach to training. I wish I had learned about and practiced her program sooner. Her emphasis on clear, simple communication and “patience as your greatest tool” revolutionized my relationship with my own dog. Her approach is the foundation that I now share with all clients. I gained so much from the 2-day workshop that I immediately signed up for a private shadow program, which was an invaluable experience. Heather was beyond generous with her time, knowledge, and personalized advice. Thank you for everything!"

  • "I've attended a couple. Dealing with difficult dogs and teach calm and guide. Her approach to everything was great because she kept it very simple. Simple is better when you're dealing with the general public. I never considered myself a dog trainer as I just owned a boarding facility. But after going to the classes and using the Sidekick I became very proficient at it. I used it exactly how I was taught, and now teach it exactly how I was taught. Within the last couple months I'll bet I've made up what it cost me for those 2 seminars combined. I've also became a much much better dog handler, so the confidence is another thing that comes."

  • "I’ve attended two of Heather Beck ‘s workshops. Despite already implementing many of the same methods with clients, SEEING everything in action at K9 Lifeline fundamentally changed how I approach training difficult dogs. I left each workshop with valuable information and techniques. I specifically appreciated the nuance in handling a dog on the Sidekick that you really have to experience in person to appreciate. I came home excited to make tweaks in my processes and handling, and have seen such positive results in the dogs I work with (especially the difficult and aggressive). A personal highlight for me was road-tripping across the country with The Zen Dog Den team, so we could bring my personal dog- a fearful/anxious rescue pittie. Watching her learn how to successfully be in the same space, and socialize with other dogs for the first time in her life was eye opening for me. I am so appreciative of Cherisse Conlon Feddock for seeing the value in these workshops, and encouraging us to go as a team of trainers. If you’re considering a workshop at K9 Lifeline, go for it ! Approach it with an open mind, and I guarantee you will be positively impacted."

  • "Oh goodness! One of the best ever!! Heather is SO down to earth and approachable. She makes everyone feel welcome and is open to ALL questions/issues and never makes you feel dumb or ridiculous for asking. She has an innate way of making you feel like you are the only one in a room full of other learners, not an easy thing to do. Her facility is top notch and a MUST to visit at least once if you are in this industry, ESPECIALLY if you have a brick and mortar facility of your own. I do not but if I did, I would mirror her business model as much as possible. Amazing human doing amazing things! Worth every penny! I did the Teach, Calm and Guide workshop because I use the sidekick for every client. It really expanded how I used the leash (it's not just for pullers) and has been a real game changer. Plus we got to play with camels! "

  • "If it’s a private shadow program ,you should prepare to go through the same response as a dog at first…Fight,Flight, avoid and acsept ….Then you realize how much you don’t know and how much information and experience you just got It’s a truly life changing experience you won’t get anywhere…..Heather is a true leader that helping, changing and motivating you to help others…."

  • "I attended Heather Beck’s workshop almost 8 years ago. After that I did a shadow program at K9 Lifeline. What really stood out to me was how important calmness was to a dog’s success. I also learned that the technique of the then called “transitional leash” calmed down the dog plus the handler. Why? Because the calmer action of leash handling, as opposed to agitating the dog with lots of leash movement, and simplicity allowed both parties to relax. This lesson. Has stuck with me throughout my dog training adventures. I have never wanted to open a facility but what I learned with Heather was exceptionally valuable regardless. What Heather and her team has achieved is what I consider the gold standard of dog socializing and daycare. I also witnessed a strong female business owner making a difference and persisting when others totally dismissed her idea. I have always admired Heather’s persistence and and insistence that her methods have value. I am happy she has continued to succeed in reaching her potential. She has set a great example for young female dog trainers and. Business owners."
